Graduation Timeline - 5/22/23

 

Friday, May 22nd Class of 2026 Graduation

 

8:30 am Seniors arrive at HHS and find name cards in the East Gym.

8:45 am Seniors to be seated in bleachers in the East Gym for the rehearsal. 

9:00 am Rehearsal begins in the East Gym and will continue out to the stadium.

11:00 am Senior Picnic at the High School on the Plaza after rehearsal.

12:45 pm End of the Senior Picnic.

 

 

5:30 pm Gates to the stadium open for guests.

6:00 pm Students arrive at the High School for graduation.

6:30 pm Students to be seated in the East Gym ready for the graduation ceremony in assigned spots.

7:00 pm Commencement begins.

9:00 pm SANP (begins after the graduation ceremony - doors lock at 9:45).

 

Attention Senior Parents - Class of 2026

Senior Portraits

  • Deadline: November 14, 2025
  • If not submitted, the LifeTouch photo (if available) will be used.
  • Students may use any photographer, but photos must meet these requirements:
    • JPEG format, 300 DPI or higher
    • Vertical head-and-shoulder shot (no horizontal photos)
    • Neutral/simple background
    • File size under 50 MB

Follow the prompts, tag with student’s full name (grade 12), and confirm submission. You’ll receive a confirmation email from donotreply@jostens.

Please plan ahead so your student is included in this year’s senior section.

Senior Academic Awards Class of 2025-2027

All senior awards are based on Laude points and not solely G.P.A.  We will no longer award Gold or Silver Medallions based solely on GPA.

Letters of Recommendations

  • Most WI and MN state universities do not require a letter of recommendation
  • Only request a letter if one of the following applies:
    • Your college of choice requires it
    • You don’t quite meet the school’s admission requirements
    • Other special circumstances/scholarship applications
  • Be respectful of teacher’s time by only requesting a letter that meets one of the above requirements
  • Colleges generally prefer letters from teachers of core academic subjects
  • Must complete Letter of Recommendation form which is available in the counseling office
  • Ask teacher in person, at least 2 weeks prior to needing it, and provide them with your completed letter of recommendation form
