Class Scheduling

Scheduling Change Guidelines

  • Requests will only be accepted through the Google Form in Google Classroom. Do not put a request in more than once.
  • All requests are reviewed by the Schedule Change Committee.
  • No changes will be accepted outside of the windows identified below.
  • All communication regarding approvals and denials will be sent once all requests have been reviewed.
  • Counselors are unavailable for appointments/emails regarding changes unless they contact you.
  • ECCP/SCN: See counselor directly for adjustments. Do not use the Google Form.
  • You may only be signed up for one of the following: YA/OJT, TA, or Study Hall.

Schedule Change

(Primary Window)

May

  • Elective Swap
    • within reason and subject to class size)
  • Level Drop (e.g., AP to non-AP)
  • Level Increase (e.g., non-AP to AP)
  • Study Hall 
    • add or replace with a class
  • OJT/YA Request - Last chance for release
  • Fix Errors: missing grad requirements, holes, failures, sequence issues, or missing pre-reqs

Automatically Denied:

  • Online course requests
  • Teacher change requests
  • Class is at minimum/maximum allowance
  • Changing entire schedule

(Corrections Only)

August

  • Level Drop (e.g., AP to non-AP)
  • Study Hall
    • add or replace
  • Critical Errors: missing grad requirements, holes, failures, sequence issues, or missing pre-reqs
